How long does it take to make a book?

Most Pageborn books are crafted in under 30 minutes from the moment you finish the form. We’ll email you when it’s ready to review in your library. Once you approve it for print, hardcovers ship within 5 business days.
Do I see the book before it’s printed?

Always. Every book lands in your library first — read every page, and only approve it for print when you’re happy. Nothing is printed without your sign-off.
What if my child doesn’t like it?

Every book has a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. We’ve never met a kid who didn’t smile when they saw their own name on the cover, but we genuinely mean it. Send the book back, we’ll refund.
What ages does Pageborn cover?

From age 3 (Lilac band — first words) through age 12+ (Free Reader — full novels). Nineteen reading bands in total (Lilac to Pearl), plus Free Reader — the same system used in over 20,000 schools across the UK and internationally. The relationship grows with your child for nearly a decade.
Are the printed books actually good quality?

Yes. Hardcover or softcover, premium 150gsm paper for picture books, lay-flat binding, FSC-certified printers in the UK and Germany. The kind of book you keep on the shelf for years, not the kind you toss after a week.
Is my child’s photo and data safe?

Yes. Photos are encrypted at rest, used only for that specific book, and deleted on request. Never used to train AI models. Never sold to third parties. Fully UK GDPR compliant. You can delete everything from your account at any time.
